OTHER:

Greetings ASPEP Members,

I appreciate the opportunity to solicit your vote for another year to continue as your ASPEP Treasurer. As your re-elected Treasurer I will continue to improve the organization leveraging experience obtained from my seven negotiating years as an ASPEP officer, giving council meeting treasurer reports, and supporting financial audits. With the support of board membership, I was able to create and share with you a Treasurer's Report Navigation Guide which I trust has proven useful to you in our monthly Council Meetings over the years. A year prior I was able to create a new fluid short term laddered CD EMAP investment account system so the association could make ~5% growth instead of ~.01% growth on money used by dues paying members. I have been an ASPEP member for 26 years, serving as your Treasurer for eleven years, and I continue to strongly believe in having a unified workforce with a voice. If re-elected, I will continue to bring positive change, effective communications, and strong leadership to the organization. You can expect that I will fulfill my obligations and perform all duties with the utmost integrity and highest degree of professionalism.

Stewardship

Stewardship I extend my best wishes again to all for a Healthy New Year! Year 2025 will be another diligent year of safeguarding and managing funds. I personally look forward to ensuring financials this year in order to serve the organization’s primary functions including the next 2026 L3Harris negotiations. ASPEP’s focus, same as our constituents, is to be financially aware and proactive. As dues paying members, we all want to be confident that our finances are in responsible hands and managed with integrity and effectively communicated. I look forward to continuing as a voice for you in 2025 and as an advocate for positive change, bringing a wealth of diversity to the table.

Communication

The Membership can make a difference when financial data is communicated clearly and concisely. We have a significant budget, and I believe my own diverse and conservative financial approaches have benefited the ASPEP Community in maintaining financial health in 2024 and with your help in 2025. I will continue to provide accurate records and supporting proof with the proper level of detail to support audits.

Demonstrated Leadership

Serving as your Treasurer encompasses more than just balancing the budget, it includes the power to implement policies with a vote on how we operate as an organization. I continue to collaboratively work with our Vice President to secure the plan, search, and interview process our future Executive Director hire. I hope my years of experience as Treasurer has gained your support in this upcoming year's election.
With your continued support, I will make a positive impact serving the ASPEP community in 2025! I continue to work in the Hardware Design and Analysis Group on CSC, ASEV, F110, LRDR, RFEMS, and Guam. May 2025 find you peace, hope, and health!
